Thanks Jan, missed the 3rd.
Those stats are crazy, 177-3-8. I'm OK with the shutdown if there is a 2 goal lead.
Kreider has me worried, guess he is going to be out for a few games. Hopefully this neck issue gets resolved soon,. If Buch is out Tuesday I would go with Boo and call up Glass as well. If Glass has played well, no reason to not give him a shot since we have the cap space. |

I've heard how bad the Hartford team is, what about Boo so far down there, any word? I loved him in that 1 pre season game, but it was 1 game. |

Savage beast so far this season. We always knew bout his speed & ability to get breakaways. But he's now scoring at will on them, throwback to his 1 great yr w the Isles. Thank God we have him signed for 2 years at this clip. |

I did not expect them to continue a big push taking a 4-0 lead into the 3rd period the other night.
This why I can't stand the puck possession obsession.
Next summer when looking at those stats, people won't remember that they took a 4-0 lead on the road, traveling into the mountains with a time change.
Calgary is one highest spending teams in the league and should be embarrassed with how they played those first two periods, of course they were gonna make some kind of push. Because of that 3rd period garbage time, now the Rangers look like they were outshot and never had the puck all game.
The obsession with possession makes me nuts and this is my confession |

To be fair, most people adjust possession stats for "Close Situations", basically when the game is a 1 goal game or tied. |

Knew you guys wouldn't be on board with Glass. He's a vet, but not to fill the spots vacated by Kreids and Buch, but the team is so deep that he can fill a 4th line spot and promote another player to fill the empty skates left by injury. |

So you actually watch the games? According to those stats Calgary should have won. Those stats drive me nuts too, so I choose to ignore them. |

I'm extremely worried, they announced the back spasms for Buchnevich so it's safe to say it wasn't the same flare up, want him to embark to the form he showed in the first handful of games |

what's funny is that three of the losses the Rangers have this season (vs the Red Wings, Blues and and Carolina) the Rangers dominated the possession stats
personally I would have rather won those games and not the possession, but that's just me |

Not obsessed with them, just pointing out a potential issue down the road. You all know I call it as I see it and in this case, feel it could be a concern in the future. |
